Although the points brought up are still true, TechCrunch published an article discussing the increase in Mobile App usage in 2014. More users are spending the majority of their time on apps as mobile web surfing declines.
This is an important consideration when evaluating whether an app may be right for your business. In fact, 86% of users time spent on mobile devices is devoted to mobile apps, with just 14% being spent on mobile web.
